Who We Serve

New To Qigong and Tai Chi

Health Providers

There is no experience necessary to begin to experience the benefits of Qigong and Tai Chi. No special clothing or props are needed. All exercises may be practiced seated or standing.

More and more doctors and health care providers are "prescribing" Qigong and Tai Chi as ways to improve and sustain both physical and mental health and to improve balance and cognitive function. All ages and abilities are invited to attend classes, workshops and private sessions.

Seniors

Seniors

Seniors are encouraged to come to improve balance, circulation and to gently exercise their bodies. Qigong and Tai Chi are proven to help fall prevention and reduce stress levels. There is a camaraderie in the classes and workshops. All newcomers are welcomed.

Many doctors, nurses, accupuncturists, chiroprators and therapists encourage their patients to come to Qigong and Tai Chi to learn breathwork, pain control and meditation techniques that work in conjunction with treatment.

Health providers are often so busy taking care of others that their own health is often compromised.   Qigong and Tai Chi will recharge your batteries and give you techniques to better serve your patients and clients. Look for workshops that offer continuing education units.

Certification

Who We Serve

Jessica offers certification programs for people interested in becoming Tai Chi Easy Practice Leaders and Level 1 Qigong Practice Leaders. These new teachers can offer classes in their communities and share with others the healing benefits of Qigong and Tai Chi. Tai Chi Easy is a combination of Qigong and a short simple form of Tai Chi that is accessible to everyone. Certification classes are offered through the Institute of Integral Qigong and Tai Chi, where Jessica is a Senior Teacher Trainer.

Meditation Practices

Meditation

Qigong and Tai Chi are often called moving meditations. Slow breathing coordinated with slow movements relaxes us into a meditative and mindful state. Our heart rates slow, the mind calms and we enter into the parasympathetic nervous system of rest, relax and heal. Our bodies breathe more deeply and efficiently.

Jessica offers private meditation sessions for those curious in exploring meditation and different aspects of their being. Meditation can ease pain, provide insights and answers and is excellent for reducing stress and gaining clarity.

Jessica guides the meditation with imagery and suggestions. The student is encouraged to witness sensations and insights while in the deep state of meditation. There are many methods and varieties of meditation and Jessica helps you to find the ones that work best for you.
