What is Qigong and Tai Chi?
Tai Chi and Qigong are ancient Chinese exercises that promote physical and psychological health. Slow, dance like movements, improve balance and focus, reduce stress and support inner peace.
We practice Qigong to heal our body and keep it healthy. Breathwork, self applied massage, stretching and meditation exercises are typically practiced in each session. Exercises may be done seated or standing. Qigong is fun and helps us to be happy and peaceful in modern day life.
Tai Chi is choreographed Qigong movements that improve overall balance and harmony in one’s body and life. Both Qigong and Tai Chi lower stress and bring us peace of mind.
In both Tai Chi and Qigong we use our awareness and breath to move, transform, direct and balance our energies. We practice Qigong to heal our body and keep it healthy. These exercises are also practiced for overcoming mental /emotional trauma and for sustaining a healthy mental/ emotional state. Qigong and Tai Chi aids us to become happy and peaceful in modern day life. It is energy work that involves focusing your mind to facilitate internal and external alchemy.
